When you grow, you think you’ve made it. You’re healed, you’re happy, you’re whole. And then it comes. That wave trying to eat you whole. It can be a message, an idea, something small, something big. It doesn’t matter.
First, we must get out the darkness and breathe again. And then, we must be humbled and know that the spiritual path is a lifelong process. All the spiritual teachers say it. It’s constant. We need a never ending reminder to stay in the light. We mustn’t think that we’ve made it and that it’s over. On the contrary, we must be grateful for the struggle. It has a lot to teach.
It’s wonderful to be light. It’s wonderful to celebrate the breakthroughs. We must say thank you for so much. But we shouldn’t resist hardship. We should grow from it and continue to learn its lessons.
The struggle many times is a test. Yes, you’ve changed. Yes, you’ve grown. Yes, you’ve healed. But will you be that enlightened creature in good and bad times? We are not expected to be perfect but we are expected to stay committed. Committed to our purpose and to the light, in good and bad times.
That’s what I learned and I’m out of the storm thankfully. It wasn’t the first and it won’t be the last storm. All that matters is that I face it with grace and ask the universe to help me see it with love. The sooner I affirm my willingness to see the light, the sooner it comes.
Today I honor the struggle and I choose to see things differently. And so it is.
The universe has spoken. I am a writer. I do not care about doubt or fear. I do not care about the details or how it will unfold. The only way it won’t manifest is if I don’t believe and just write. I have declared it and so, it shall be.
The Universe Has Your Back by Gabby Bernstein came to me through a very special friend that had gone through a very difficult break up. I broke up a few months ago and I’m still healing. The book has helped enormously. I’ve chosen to not only heal from this break up but also from past wounds where I’d beat myself up over almost anything. And so, here I am. I finally feel ready to share my thoughts in a way that I know can help others. Show up for the assignment and trust that the universe will support you. It’s all energy. The better your energy, the better you attract.
You’ve read it before and I’ll say it again. That’s another fear that stopped me before. What can I say that’s new? Well, I hope a lot. I hope to reach those single women in their 30s who face judgement on a regular basis. I hope to reach Latin women in and out of the US. I’m a minority wherever I go and I like it. I like breaking barriers and showing others that nothing should get in the way of living your best life. I also hope to reach those who have struggled with their weight, with dysfunctional relationships and those who simply feel lost without a clue as to what they are meant to do with their lives. I’ve been on “top” and have hit rock bottom. It’s OK.
No matter where you are, you can step into the light. It’s never too late to be happy! This is my first post where all I hope is to put this amazing energy in motion so that the universe knows that I trust. I trust that my journey has been to learn and grow but mainly to help others find their true life. Once you align yourself to the light, it all starts to fall into place.
